The papers in this volume honour and elucidate Ian Todd?s important research on the prehistory of Anatolia and Cyprus. Ian?s work at Çatalhöyük and his Central Anatolian Survey are discussed, updated and reassessed in chapters by Hodder, Baird, Baysal, Summers and Bachhuber. Özbaşaran, Duru and Kayacan outline key results from ongoing work at Aşıklı and Düring investigates connections between Kalavasos Tenta and Aşıklı Höyük in light of recent evidence. Several chapters focus on the legacy of Todd?s excavations at Tenta (South) and the Vasilikos Valley Project (Kearns and Andreou). Crewe discusses evidence for early Cypro-PPN activity at Kissonerga, Wasse, Reese and Clarke suggest a ritual use for triton shells in underground complexes at Kokkinoyia, Bolger explores differences in Chalcolithic ceramics at Kalavasos and Kissonerga and Clarke suggests that Late Neolithic/Chalcolithic low walled trays were used for salt production.
